A peaceful, non-judgemental tribe centered around Gene-Strains and Communions.
Formation
Part of a series about the Tribes of Outlook.
The Mutati Tribe are one of the larger Tribes of the Outlook, due to their accepting policy; this means they are also the Tribe that the most people have drifted from and formed their own groups. They have an important oral (and mental) history and culture.
Leadership
Led by a group of Gene-Strains, much of their decision-making is done in the form of Communions, melding the minds and viewpoints of the various members, gene-strain and dead-strain, until consensus is reached.
Reputation
A very peaceful Tribe, most other Tribes will have members with connections to the Mutati; they are large and extroverted, keen to find out new pieces of history and new ways of making life better.
Religion
The Mutati believe that all life is cyclical; they claim that this world is approaching the end of the cycle, but soon it will begin again at the beginning, and they will live all this again. Their goal is to make every life better than the last, and every cycle an improvement. They believe all Gods and Demons are as temporal as humanity; but they too will come back.
Defining Trait
Non-judgementality- those from the Mutati Tribe hold no real prejudices, and are difficult to get to stick to grievances- they have a relaxed attitude to life.
Aesthetic
All members of the Tribe wear coloured wristbands, often of rope, that denote significant milestones in their lives; important times which will recur when the world circles back around again.
Mutati names tend to incorporate defining features of the character, whether mutations or other character traits. This may end up being overly long, in which case people will tend to shorten it to a unique name.
For example, after her first hunt, Lucy becomes Lucy-The-Clawed-Warrior-Looking-Out-For-Herself but people end up referring to her as Clawed Lucy.
Contact
